Lauren Ward is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) currently practicing under clinical supervision as she works toward independent clinical licensure. A Greenville native, Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Anderson University and her Master of Social Work from Winthrop University.

Lauren believes that every person has a unique story and deserves to be met with compassion, respect, and authenticity. She takes an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet clients where they are. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, narrative therapy, strengths-based practice, trauma-informed care, and empowerment-focused approaches, Lauren partners with clients to help them navigate life's challenges and move toward meaningful growth.

Her professional experience includes work in nonprofit organizations, inpatient psychiatric care, schools, and early intervention services. Lauren is passionate about helping individuals navigate a variety of life's challenges by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.

Outside of the office, Lauren loves discovering new coffee shops, listening to podcasts, reading, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her cats.
