Daisy Humphries, LMFT-A
“We are not to be defined as who we once were.”
Daisy Humphries is a LMFT-A with experience working with self-esteem/self-identity problems, depression, anxiety, and neurodiversity such as ADHD and ASD. Daisy has worked with adults, young adults, teens, pre-teens, and young children up to age 6. She has experience as a school-based therapist with middle school age children and has prior experience working as an Early Interventionist (EI) for children 6 and under.
In therapy, Daisy employs experiential and CBT techniques and remains curious and respectful of the client's experience and life story. Working with children, she employs child-centered play therapy or CBT play therapy depending on the child's development and needs. Daisy aims to provide transparency and comfortability for clients to be themselves in the therapeutic environment.
Daisy earned her B.S in Psychology and French and Francophone Studies at Wofford and then earned her M.S. in MMFT at Converse University.
Daisy loves humor, playing video games or board games, and spending time with loved ones. She is also a big animal lover and has a tuxedo cat named Jinx.
