Lauren Bianowsky, LPC-A
“You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step.”
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who works with children, teens, and young adults navigating life’s transitions, whether big or small. She supports clients feeling stuck, unmotivated, or overwhelmed by challenges such as relationship struggles, complex family dynamics, low self-esteem, body image concerns, or the pressures of today’s comparison-driven social world.
Lauren takes a modern, down-to-earth approach to therapy, showing up as her authentic self rather than a blank slate. Sessions are personalized to fit what you need, whether that’s space to vent, practical tools, guidance, or help making sense of what you’re going through.
Lauren primarily uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a forward-looking approach that helps you identify strengths, set clear goals, and develop practical strategies based on what’s already working in your life. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help you recognize and adjust unhelpful thought patterns, fostering positive changes in how you feel and act. For younger clients, Lauren uses play therapy to create a fun, welcoming space where children can open up and work through their feelings with toys, games, or creative activities.
Outside of therapy, Lauren enjoys baking a variety of sweet treats, spending time with her husband and their two French bulldogs, taking road trips to the beach, and reading a good thriller book. .
