Casey Kimbrell, LISW-CP

Casey is a Clinical Licensed Social Worker (LISW-CP) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of South Carolina. Casey graduated from USC Upstate with her Bachelor's in Psychology and minor in Child Advocacy Studies. She graduated from University of South Carolina with her Masters in Social Work and certificate in drug and alcohol studies. Casey specializes in trauma, relationships, domestic violence, attachment, addiction, and codependency. Additionally, she has great experience working with mood and personality disorders. Casey’s preferred treatment modalities are attachment-based, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, client-centered, strength-based, and narrative therapy.
Casey has worked as a programs coordinator for trauma and domestic violence programs, an alcohol and drug counselor, a trauma therapist, in crisis stabilization of adolescents and adults in a psychiatric hospital, and with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Casey is passionate about being a safe place for individuals to explore their stories and to be a stepping stone in their healing journey.
When Casey is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and her cat. In addition, she loves getting a good coffee and mindlessly strolling through stores; traveling; trying new recipes; and having lazy days at home!
