Dana Trudeau (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. With over 15 years of professional experience in diverse clinical settings, Dana employs an eclectic therapeutic approach, tailoring techniques to meet the unique needs of each client. Her primary therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, complemented by Play Therapy techniques. Dana is a rostered Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral(TF-CBT) therapist.
Dana Trudeau enjoys collaborating effectively with a wide range of clients, including younger children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Her therapeutic focus primarily encompasses depression and mood disorders, anxiety, life stressors and transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and women’s concerns. Dana Trudeau is also open to working with various populations, including the LGBTQ+ clients.
In her personal life, Dana Trudeau cherishes spending time with family and close friends, traveling, visiting Disney, engaging in crafting, and swimming. She has two adopted children and is passionate about working with children in foster care, adoptive families, and those who have experienced trauma.
