couples, veterans, and first responders seeking support in navigating life’s challenges. She

recognizes the importance of individualized care and tailors her approach to each client’s

unique needs through intentional, authentic, and empathetic interventions. Lauren views

clients as the experts of their own experiences—the authors of their own stories—and

emphasizes the importance of honoring the human side of being.

Using an integrative, trauma-competent approach, Lauren incorporates elements of Person-

Centered Therapy (PCT), Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-

Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Posttraumatic Growth (PTG).

Her work supports a holistic path to healing that considers the many dimensions of a client’s life

and experience, focusing on “meeting the client where they are at”.

Lauren’s clinical and academic experiences span across diverse settings, including work within

homes, schools, and multi-lingual communities in addition to telehealth group-based services.

She holds a dual B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, as well as a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health

Counseling. While actively pursuing advanced training/specialization in trauma, with plans to

obtain bilingual Spanish certification, Lauren’s commitment for delivering accessible, culturally

responsive, and high-quality care remains at the core of her work.
