Jordan Crosby (he/ him) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy in South Carolina. He specializes in using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with teens and adults. This type of therapy works particularly well with folks with a history of suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, unstable moods, and unhealthy relationships. Jordan is also an LGBTQ-affirming therapist who loves working with both clients and their families in learning more about sexual orientation, gender identity, and other forms of identity in an approachable and shame-free way.

Jordan received his Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University and his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Spanish Language from Wofford College, both in Spartanburg, SC. Jordan completed his intensive DBT training through Behavioral Tech.

Prior to Healing Solutions, Jordan worked with adolescents and young adults for five years at Spartanburg Methodist College and then at Dorman High School through Spartanburg Area Mental Health. Jordan is also on the Board of Directors of Piedmont Care, an organization that works with people living with HIV/ AIDS. Piedmont Care provides treatment, testing, and other forms of preventative care for HIV/ AIDS, all within Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties.

In his free time, Jordan is probably somewhere lost in the woods while trying to hike, eating too many burritos, going to punk rock shows, or buying books that he probably won’t end up reading at Barnes and Noble.

Jordan can’t wait to meet you and encourages you to reach out and start your therapeutic journey today!
